What’s in the Program?
This meaningful educational program invites high school students to take part in commemorating the lives of fallen IDF soldiers, security personnel, and victims of terror – especially those who were graduates of their schools and communities.
Throughout the program, students will document the stories, memories, and images of those who lost their lives during their military service or as a result of terror attacks. They will connect with bereaved families, listen to their stories, and learn about the personal lives, values, and heroism of the fallen.
Students will gather materials, create personal memorial projects, and contribute to a network-wide online memorial platform. The program encourages deep reflection on the meaning of remembrance, heritage, and national responsibility, while fostering personal expression through unique and respectful memorial outputs.
The program strengthens students’ connection to Israel’s national and ethical narrative, and brings visibility to personal and communal stories that are vital to the collective memory of Israeli society.
