Living and Learning Together

Nationwide
Target Audience: Principals and school leadership teams
Program Duration: 15 hours

Overview
This program invites educational leaders to deeply explore the core question: Who is education for? With an emphasis on personal development, societal contribution, and cultural preservation, the program offers a platform for collaborative learning and meaningful dialogue.

Throughout the sessions, participants will examine future-oriented educational goals, the profile of the graduate we aim to shape, and key pedagogical challenges facing today’s educators. Discussions will center on the values, tools, and competencies needed to prepare students for life in Israeli society and the modern technological world.

We will challenge the notion that grades are the sole measure of success, and instead explore how to equip students with emotional resilience to navigate constant social change. Together, we will foster conversations around self-worth, identity, community belonging, and adaptive thinking all essential for thriving in today’s workforce.

What’s in the Program?

  • Approximately four 2.5-hour sessions held throughout the year, each hosted at a different school in the local area.
  • This format allows participants to get to know educational institutions in their own region and encourages ongoing learning and cooperation based on interest and local context.
  • Participants will be encouraged to adapt and lead similar discussions within their own schools, using the materials and insights from the sessions.
  • Each session will include time for collective reflection, peer exchange, and shared thinking around the topics raised.

The program creates a space for educational leadership teams to learn and grow together, forming strong regional professional communities. Join us on this thought-provoking journey and turn each day into an opportunity to influence and innovate

What Is Required from Schools?

  • Ongoing, active participation of the school principal and selected members of the leadership team.
  • Continuation of the educational dialogue within the school leading reflective discussions among staff around the core ideas raised in the program.
