Lead Teachers Program

Target Audience: Teachers
Program Duration: Full Academic Year

Overview

The Lead Teachers program is founded on the belief that teachers are not merely implementers of policy or consumers of external knowledge, but active partners in generating it.

This initiative centers on the idea that pedagogical inquiry is a vital part of the teaching profession. Reflection, theorization, and research are essential components of every educator’s professional development.

Through a guided and in-depth process, participating teachers are invited to transform their tacit pedagogical knowledge into explicit insights refined, tested, and ready to be shared with others.

The program provides a professional space for theoretical exploration, empirical data collection and analysis, and redesign of existing initiatives for improved impact.

Developed in partnership between the Center for Pedagogical Research (Academia–Field Collaborations) and the Atid Educational Network, the program emphasizes the public sharing of teacher knowledge as a key value. This visibility not only recognizes and honors educational practice, but also positions teaching as a leading, reflective, and practical profession.

Together, we’re building a community of teacher-researchers working to strengthen the educational field and elevate the role of teachers across the system.
