What’s in the program?
The Network Leadership Council is a select group of students from schools across the Atid Network who work together to represent, lead, and create educational-social change. The council offers a unique opportunity to be actively involved in decision-making, lead impactful projects, and influence at a national level.
The Network Student Council focuses on developing students’ initiative and providing them with meaningful opportunities to make a difference. Students are expected to bridge diverse needs of peers from various schools (diversity) and build a shared identity and common values among the network’s student body.
Program Goals
- Student Representation: Connecting student leadership with the network administration and influencing decision-making processes.
- Developing Young Leadership: Building initiative skills, teamwork, public speaking, and change leadership.
- Leading Educational and Social Initiatives: Each student leads a value-driven project within their school council.
- Strengthening Belonging to the Network: Creating a community of influential students from all schools.
Training Method
- Six in-person network meetings from November to May, with mandatory full attendance.
- A cutting-edge digital platform for managing and selecting students for the council, provided free of charge.
- Mentoring and personal guidance throughout the year.
- Engaging workshops and trainings led by top professionals.
- An educational-social initiative developed and implemented by each student by the program’s end.
What’s Required from the School?
- Recruitment of 2 leading students from the school’s student council.
- Participation in all six network meetings.
- Providing a platform for students to influence and lead.
- A social coordinator or a supervising teacher.
